Hello and welcome to Melanin Pages, my new lifestyle blog. My blog touches on makeup, fashion, and young black female entrepreneurs.  Each month there will be a new word to express how I feel about myself, or a word I feel has really good meaning.  My name is Jaida Johnson, and I am currently a student at Saint Peter’s University majoring in communications with a minor in Sociology. I am a fashion and makeup fanatic, and self proclaimed #Diva.

I always wanted to start a blog of my own, but for some reason it was always hard for me. I wouldn’t know where to start or even what to blog about. On September 13th  I had no choice but to buckle down and decide what I wanted to blog about . I think a blog for anyone allows them to have a voice, as well as showcase their creativity.

From words of wisdom, various makeup and fashion looks (inexpensive), to young black women starting their own businesses this blog gives you all different kinds of vibes.  I share this blog with you uplift, educate, and inspire others.
